Very clean hotel and excellent value for money. The bed was comfortable and the room was large. We liked helpfulness and friendliness of the bar staff. Friendly check-out too. A useful base for a longer stay in Nottingham. Buffet breakfast was usually good.
Clean and spacious parking is included in the price. Close to David Ross sport center and real value for money.
Great location, close to the university. Free parking and rooms smallish but functional and clean
Parking, breakfast, park.
Room air conditioning, always cold.
Good room and facilities.
Terrible after sales service regarding getting an invoice and return of lost property which STILL has not come back to me.
room was good and for us an excellent location
catering was very poor both in terms of general service and quality of food - not 4 star food - which was a shame as the rest of the stay was really good
Location The nachos Low cost buffet breakfast Free Internet
No water in room
The staff were very helpful, lovely clean rooms and supper was delicious.
Clean, new, modern , friendly, great food, room service, very comfortable, quiet.
Guess the hotel is well insulated being Eco friendly... We needed to turn heating down .
Nice new hotel, staff very friendly and attentive
Eco-friendly Located close to conference centre Comfortable, clean room Friendly staff
1) Originally booked twin room (no breakfast) as single person but then changed to include my partner (when his plans changed). On checking in hotel staff asked if I would prefer a double room. Your computer system indicated that room 331 was a double and was clean and ready to occupy, but the system also indicated that the previous occupants hadn't checked out. The staff member made a phone call and talked to colleagues to check the room was definitely ready before completing the paperwork. You must have a problem with your computer system because, aside from the confusion over how ready the room was, the room was also in fact a twin and not a double. 2) A group of around 12 of us had dinner on the Friday night. We sat down at around 7:45pm but the service was so slow that we didn't finish paying until 10:45pm. Some of us were booked in to attend an evening event at the conference centre next door and had anticipated having a quick main course so that we could get to the event by 8:30pm. We missed the event and let down the people who were expecting us, as well as losing valuable time with colleagues during the conference. I've eaten in many restaurants over the last 3 decades and I was shocked and appalled at the service (and food choice). 3) The vegetarian main course option was very poor value for money. The rice noodles were bland and kept on slipping off my fork. The portions were very small - a colleague had what looked like a risotto (I don't remember what the meat options on the menu were) and her portion was much bigger. The vegetarian dish wasn't very filling and we were left tired and hungry by the time we'd eventually paid up. 4) Had I known that the food would be so poor and take so long I would have gone to the conference event and ordered a delivery pizza!
Ground floor shared toilets were lacking in driers
The accommodation and hotel design were first rate
The restaurant served good food but pricey and you need to be v careful what you order. Avoid the sea food. Two scallops and two fennel leaves for £9 = gutted. Salmon and kale and tomato for £13 = the smallest piece of salmon possible with a garnish of kale n tomato, far from a complete meal. Feedback was given to our waiter but there was no attempt to appease us. Would not return
i thought the staff at reception were outstanding the rooms are light very spaceous shower
thought that the staff in the bar needed to be trained better
Room facilities, quality of fitments, towels, bedding. New hotel.
Location limits options for eating out with out the need to take your car. Service was hit and miss.
